If you have an old DOS program that is holding you back, no matter how large or complex you think it might be, we know you'll be pleasantly surprised when you find out how quickly conversions can take place. Often we have a sample application running partially the next day.
One of the huge benefits of doing a free sample application is that we can only judge the complexity and difficulty of data conversion by actually extracting data. Once we've succeeded in extracting data we can give you a good estimate as to how much time further extraction will take.
Additionally, when you have a sample application in front of you and we can tell you it took four or eight hours, then you have a much better ability to appreciate whether the time and cost of proceeding with a project is commensurate with the benefit to the organization.
Personally, I would like to leave you with a word of advice. Frequently organizations such as UNIREV feel they own the code that they write for the customer. UNIREV is different in that you own your code. This means if at any time you wish to change vendors you may do so. Vendor lock-in is very expensive and here at UNIREV we believe that our customers don't want it or need it. Whichever company you choose to do your DOS conversion, make sure you ask them "Who owns the code?"
