We just started a business. Now what?

Congratulations! Here are some things to keep in mind as you grow.

Disaster Preparedness

Make a list of locations where you will store all important data. This may include email accounts, spreadsheets and other documents. Keep this list short and stick to it. If you have two computers share a folder from one to the other and keep everything important in that folder. If you use a free email account back it up at least monthly.

Get a box and put all your software disks in that box. If an existing computer dies you'll want everything in one place so you can set up a new one the same way. Burn a CD or DVD of any necessary downloaded software if you can and write down a link where to get the latest version. You'll also find it useful to keep a list of all your software license numbers somewhere.

Backup Solutions

Once you get to the point where you are nervous about possibly losing something, give us a call. We have set up  small companies with a simple manual backup that restored their confidence for as little as $100. Check out the backup page for estimates by number of employees.

Workflow Opportunities

Once you get to the point where you begin to think "there must be a better way", call us! Many times its as simple as putting together a small database from a small spreadsheet collection. See the testimonial section of our website and read about how small businesses all over DFW are saving time and money with a minimal cost. Then call us at 817-503-545 and we'll put you in touch with some of our customers so you can ask them what to expect!
